Chocolate Peanut Butter No-Bake Bars

No-bake chocolate peanut butter bars with a soft nutty base and glossy chocolate topping that firms up in the fridge.

Ingredients
  

Base

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter or any nut/seed butter
  • 1 cup gluten-free oat flour or almond flour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Topping

  • 1 cup chocolate chips dairy-free if needed
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Line an 8x8 inch square pan with parchment.
  • Warm peanut butter and maple syrup in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the oat or almond flour until a thick dough forms.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the pan and smooth the top.
  • Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil over low heat until glossy.
  • Pour melted chocolate over the base and tilt the pan to level.
  • Refrigerate 2–3 hours or until firm.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For an oat-free or grain-free version, use almond flour. For nut-free, use sunflower seed butter. Bars freeze well when wrapped individually. Store in the refrigerator up to 7 days.
